We had Madelynn baptized this past weekend at St. John's UCC in Breese. Madelynn's baptizmal gown was made by Carol Hess, she is the lady who decided that Kevin and I should meet and also did decorating and dress making for our wedding. Her dress was made from apart of my wedding dress, and she also wore the necklace that I wore for my baptism and a ring that my mother, Maddy's grandmother wore for hers. My sister is Madelynn's godmother, and Dale, Kevin's brother, is her godfather. Everything went very well and she was only upset a little bit when Rev. Lisa put the water on her head. After the church service we had everyone back to the house for lunch, cake, and gift opening. Madelynn received many thoughtful gifts, and we were glad that our parents, grandparents, and siblings were there to celebrate with us.
