Here are some pictures of the girls, Kevin, and myself. I'm going to make another post showing some of the wildlife and landscape pictures from our trip.
Emma hanging out in the kitchen while we unpacked.
Maddy is very into blowing bubbles right now. She blew bubbles while Kevin grilled burgers for lunch one afternoon.
"Sister! Wake Up! You need to play with me now."
Kevin and the girls hiking on a short trail. This was the only hike we attempted with Maddy walking.
She led the way halfway back but then decided that mommy needed to carry her the rest of the way.
We broke out the second kid carrier after that.
She liked it. She tapped Kevin on the head saying, "Go faster, Go faster!"
Emma, Maddy, and I by a stream. We tried many times to get a picture with all of us looking. Not the easiest task with a nine month old and especially a two year old.
This was at an aquarium in Gatlinburg. It was nice and had a lot geared toward younger kids, unfortunately there were two middle school field trip groups there that day and they weren't exactly great about letting the little kids do the stuff that was meant for them.
We don't have any pictures of Maddy and Emma's favorite thing. It was the Dixie Stampede dinner show. Horses, pigs, buffalo, and all sorts of fun things that they both absolutely loved watching.
It was a relaxing week and it was wonderful to not have to worry about work, the house, or other obligations and to just have a week to focus on our family.
