A Cute Baby and a Doggie Diva

Today was absolutely beautiful out, and was the last of Kevin's long six day weekend. Because of those facts, we decided to take Maddy and the two little dogs to Carlyle Lake for a walk on the dam. It was sunny out, so Maddy got good use out of her pink sunglasses from Grammy & Grampy B. Isn't she just the cutest!? At first, the dogs were tugging on their leashes and we couldn't walk fast enough for them. After 3/4 of a mile it was a different story. You see Lucy is quite the Diva and normally chooses to lay down in the grass and act as though she may die if we make her keep walking, today she saw Maddy's stroller as an opportunity. Lucy sniffed at the stroller and started to climb into the basket underneath Madelynn's seat, she couldn't quite figure out how to get in so Kevin assisted her. She rode underneath for a little bit, but ultimately her nosiness got the best of her and she made the remaidner of the walk outside the stroller where she could check out the other people on the trail. After our walk we put a mat down on one of the picnic tables and let Maddy stretch out in the shade. We had a fun time and on the way home bought some plants and flowers to spruce up the house for summer (now I just have to plant them).
