Christmas Day

Needless to say, Christmas day was a lot of fun this year. Christmas morning was my favorite part of the day, just Kevin, Maddy, and I enjoying her first Christmas. I made quiche and homemade blueberry muffins for breakfast and then we opened our presents.
Here is Maddy pushing her walker toy and Rascal getting out of her way.
She now has the actual walking behind it down.
Maddy actually opening up one of her gifts.

Mommy, Maddy, and Rascal emptying one of Madelynn's bags of clothes from Santa.

That afternoon, we went to Kevin's parents house. We had lunch, opened gifts, and spent time with his siblings who both made it home for the holiday.

Here Madelynn is emptying her stocking with the help of Kevin's mom.

Not sure, but it looks like Maddy is having a conversation with Grandpa, Uncle Dale, and Aunt Amy.

Christmas Night was spent at my aunt and uncle's house. We again ate, and spent time with everyone and also did our gift exchange.

Here Maddy is enjoying her bottle in one of the empty boxes. My aunt pulled her around in the box later on. She enjoyed the ride.

Here is Maddy with Great Grandma and Grandpa Boda.
Hopefully she will be better at looking at the camera by her birthday.
It was a challenge this Christmas.

Madelynn's first Christmas was great. She did really well visiting all the places she isn't familar with, and she was still able to take her naps that day which was key to a happy baby. We are looking forward to next year when she will be even more into opening her presents and will be able to help her new brother or sister with theirs. I hope your holiday was as nice as ours was, Merry Christmas!
