This is one of Kevin's presents from Madelynn and I. It is a ladder, and Dave and Lindsey picked it up for me since I wouldn't have a way of transporting it with out Kevin finding out. A week before Christmas, we had told my sister that she was in charge of wrapping Dad's gift. It was a large gift and we had wrapped the big presents a few years in a row. Kevin told her no matter what everyone's gift should be wrapped. Well, she ran out of scotch tape before she got to Kevin's and this is what it looked like:
Here is Madelynn helping PawPaw open his present. We all went together and got Dad a new TV for the basement. I think he is enjoying watching his shows on a bigger screen.
One of Maddy's gifts from my parents was a cell phone. She likes to talk on the phone, and has even managed to dial ours a few time, luckily the numbers she pressed weren't 911. We are able to record messages to her on this phone, and so she is able to call Daddy when he is at work. Pretty handy.
Maddy also got a cute little starfish that squirts for the bath tub.
Uncle Dave and Aunt Lindsey got Madelynn a pony.
It is just her size!
It was a nice relaxing evening. Just what we needed before the next two very busy days.
