This past Saturday, we threw Maddy's second birthday party. It was Elmo and Abby Cadabby themed.
She wore her special birthday outfit for the party.
And Daddy even wore a Sesame Street shirt for his girl's day!
Several of our friends couldn't make it that evening due to illnesss, new babies and schedule conflicts, but the family and friends who were there had a great time. Maddy received lots of thoughtful gifts that she has already had so much fun playing with.
She even took time out to give her little sister a snuggle. 
Maddy loved her Abby and Elmo cake that our neighbor made for her.
She walked with me to pick it up Saturday afternoon, wanted to eat some right then. But she managed to wait until her party to dive in. The icing is her favorite part, and really the only part she eats!
