Klueter Christmas

This past Saturday was Klueter Christmas, which is really more like a family reunion for my mom's aunts, uncles, and cousins.  This year, her cousin Carolyn and Walt Pribble hosted the gathering at their home in Homer, Illinois.    It was a really nice day, and we were able to spend a little time with my aunt who made the trip down from Wisconsin.

Here is a pic of the whole family, well at least those who attended.  My grandmother was one of nine, so my mom has several first cousins scattered around the country and of course not all of them were able to make the trip.

My mom, and her cousins that were in attendance.

Maddy loved that they had sidewalk chalk and bubbles to play with.  Truthfully the kids all made out pretty well with bunco prizes, and attendance prizes the girls came home with quite the loot.  They also had horses which Maddy "tickled" and beautiful gardens around their home.

Emma got held by lots and lots of people and was a trouper.  She was awake and happy for the entire afternoon, and instantly fell asleep when we got in the car to drive home.

Maddy made a new friend, Makayla.

Makayla was great with Maddy and played with her for the majority of the afternoon.

We had an enjoyable afternoon, and ended the day with a slumber party at PawPaw and MawMaw's house.
