Mommy and Maddy's Birthday - The Events of February 25, 2010

Our birthday this year was great! Our day began the a french toast and bacon breakfast prepared by our wonderful husband/daddy. Then Maddy found her present from Mommy and Daddy waiting for her in the living room. We gave her a Kangaroo Climber. What is that you ask? There are some pictures of her checking it out below. Then we headed to Edwardsville. We ate lunch at Peel, which is a newer restaurant that serves, fire grilled pizzas, sandwiches, and pastas. The three of us shared an appetizer and pizza, very tasty! Then we ran a few errands in Edwardsville and went to the Cupcakery, a new bakery that makes only cupcakes. They make all different flavors. Kevin had the double chocolate and Maddy and I shared a confetti cupcake, vanilla cake with sprinkled buttercream. We finished the night out with dinner with my parents, and Dave and Lindsey. Technically, this part of the evening was Dave and I's birthday celebration. Dave's birthday is earlier in February and we usually do our dinner together and this night was the only night that worked for all us. Mom made turkey, corn, and mashed potatoes. For dessert we had Dave and I's favorites. Icecream cake, and four layer dessert. Maddy had a piece of four layer dessert and thoroughly enjoyed it. Here are some pictures from the day!
