Nine Months

It is still hard each month for me to believe just how big Madelynn is getting, and how quickly her first year is passing. In the picture below she is riding her caterpillar, this is currently one of her favorite activities. Sitting on something and bouncing as she rides it that is. She "walks" behind her toy box as it scoots across the floor and is becoming braver by the day. I think that she will be taking her first steps with the next couple of months. She is also growing, today at her 9 month check up she measured 27 3/4 inches and weighed 17 lbs 14 oz. Kevin and I have been saying for the past few weeks that she was looking longer and "leaner", kind of hard to say leaner with her pudgy legs and cheeks. She is very busy on a daily basis. She prefers to be down on the floor playing for the majority of the time, but will still snuggle and read books and sing songs which is nice.
